Welcome back to another blog review! Today I will be reviewing the movie “Coco” it is a family animated movie. Once again, I won’t give a background I will go straight to the review.
“Coco” in my opinion is a movie that is mainly about family traditions and how it affects some family members. In this case Miguel, which is the main character loves music, but unfortunately his family does not allow music. This really affects him since it is something he is passionate about but cannot practice due to his family values/ traditions.
Miguel fights for this “tradition” to be broken, there is nothing wrong with music. As he goes through this journey he finds an unexpected family member.
This movie really teaches younger people and even adults the value of family and as well as how some traditions can affect the life of a family member and the best thing to do is to just allow it even if is something that has been going on for years.
Sometimes is just best to break some “values/traditions” for the best of the family. This family mainly stopped listening to music for a misunderstanding between a couple in the family.
After this “tradition/ value was broken the family life was so much better and got a long better as well. When it comes to this type of situations the best thing to do is put yourself in the other person shoes and try to understand them.
After Miguel broke that “tradition/ value” was broken everyone was happy and more united than ever. I am not saying to break your family “traditions/ values” but that sometimes some of the things a family values are affecting some of the family member life and you need to put yourself in that person shoes and just understand them.
I really enjoyed this movie it made me cry towards the end, but I am very sensitive probably why. Anyways it is a good movie for young kids and adults as well.
Thank you for reading!
