Today I will be reviewing the movie “Brain on Fire” an original Netflix movie. If you want some background information about the movie you can head to Netflix and read it there I will be going straight to the review.
This movie was somewhat rare at the beginning it started with a young female, living a normal healthy life. Not going to lie the beginning was kind of boring and not very interesting after a while when she started getting symptoms and zoning out was when it started getting very interesting.
This movie is unlike anything I have seen before, I never thought that your own immune system can attack your own brain. I think this movie was very interesting and educational.
It was very interesting and eye catching, never throughout the whole movie did I take my eyes off the screen. Also, it had me somewhat odd the way she was acting something I have never seen before. It is very sad how she had to move from doctor to doctor to see what was wrong with her and that they gave her all these random medications that were not even helping her. Also, many doctors really gave up on her and it is really sad.
I think this movie is really helpful to spread the word of this sickness or illness whatever you want to call it. Not many people know what is wrong especially when it comes to things like this that you will never imagine are even possible. This is a really good way to give awareness to people that may have symptoms like hers and it really helps out so they can go and get help.
When I first saw this movie it never crossed my mind that it was based on a true story until I stayed through the end. That is when it really hit me and shocked me, that many people really have to go through all this and someone like her that went through this and people taught she was crazy is crazy.
Overall, this was a really good movie I really enjoyed it and I think it is very educational and informative.
